1. you can also look at using the Modules Environment (http://modules.sf.net) to provide the ability to build software and workflows to provide other software that the OS doesn’t provide.

  2. Doesn’t work. Missing libjsoncpp

    –> Processing Dependency: libjsoncpp.so.0()(64bit) for package: cmake3-3.4.3-1.el7.centos.x86_64
    –> Finished Dependency Resolution
    Error: Package: cmake3-3.4.3-1.el7.centos.x86_64 (group_kdesig-cmake3_EPEL)
    Requires: libjsoncpp.so.0()(64bit)

    1. Hey Eric

      Yes, i know, is just because is already integrated on epel 🙂
      So, use the standard repository for install cmake3. Please tell me if something is not working there and i ping the RedHat main maintainer.

      1. I have no idea what you are trying to say with ‘use the standard repository for install cmake3’. The standard repository does not come with cmake3 and the version in the repository you mention depends on software that it does not provide and is not in the standard repositories.

        How is one to install this then?

  3. Centos 7.5:
    Error: Package: cmake3-data-3.6.1-3.el6.noarch (epel)
    Requires: /usr/bin/python2.6
